Hi all, As you probably know, we're hacking on the new awesomescreen/about:home in a separate repo called fig:
http://hg.mozilla.org/projects/fig We've made some really good progress in the last month or so. We now have most of the major building blocks in place so this is a good time to jump in. Our intention is to have as many developers as possible engaged on this new implementation. With that in mind, I compiled an initial list of "good first bugs" in fig: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=sw%3A"good-first-bug-fig" Keep in mind that these bugs are probably more appropriate for developers who are already familiar with our code base. A couple of them are about implementing the currently missing about:home pages using our new infrastructure (fragments + cursor loaders). The code should be analogous to BrowserSearch's or VisitedPage's. BookmarksPage still needs to be ported to use Loaders. This is a good opportunity to learn a bit about fragments and loaders if you haven't done it before. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! --lucasr _______________________________________________ mobile-firefox-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mobile-firefox-dev
