Hi everyone As I mentioned a while back, we're planning to have a hackathon next week to wrap up some key bugs on the new about:home implementation! Schedule Tuesday 9:30PST: Kickoff (Mobile Vidyo room) Tuesday-Friday: HACK Friday 9:30PST: Debrief in front-end meeting Goals for next week * Feature parity with current about:home ** Pinning /editing ** Search suggestions opt in UI * UI transitions ** new tab from menu ** new tab from tabs tray ** tapping url bar * Implement updated history panel * Get a functioning tablet UI in place (finalized visual design can come in followup work We're hoping that after next week, we can have most of these items landed, and then spend the week after tying up loose ends: * Test day (July 29?) * Work on test infrastructure for the new UI * Aim to merge Fig into Nightly early in the 26 cycle Let me know if you have any questions, otherwise I'll see you on Tuesday!
