Hello everyone!

Several weeks ago, Google released a developer preview for Espresso [1],
their take on a UI testing framework for Android.

:lucasr recently asked if anyone had tried it out so I threw together an
etherpad [2] to collect our thoughts as it would be good to see what
Espresso does and see what we can take away from it (even if we don't use
it directly).

If you've ever used Espresso or even just read through the documentation
(disclaimer!) like myself, feel free to add to the etherpad.

For background, we are currently using Robotium [3] for our UI testing,
which has its fair share of grievances, particularly in terms of
reliability. We are building a new testing framework [4] around Robotium to
alleviate some of these issues, so it may be helpful to take some of
Espresso's ideas into account there.

Thanks!
