Thanks for bringing this up. This is actually a big problem, as it means ALL of our Tor-proxied requests are leaking the real IP when favicons are requested. Did that behavior change at some point? As for system wide proxy settings, they don't practically exist on Android. There are per WiFi proxy settings and sometimes you can hack them into your 3G APN but otherwise it is not a valid solution.
