Welcome to the new Nightly cycle. Fx33 is now on mozilla-central and here are some of the higher priority projects we are working on for the next six (6) weeks:
* Search Activity/Widget: This project started to form during the last cycle and has become a high priority. A project page exists [1] which should answer, or grow to answer, most questions. Two primary tasks are: Focusing to an MVP and Pulling code into mozilla-central so we can start making Nightly builds. * Downloadable Distributions: Firefox supports the concept of 'distributions' [2] to allow partners to customize some parts of the experience. We are working on a new approach for deploying distribution bundles [3] to give Firefox and partners more flexibility. * Firstrun and Contextual Hints: These projects were started in Fx32 and we actually landed a solid set of Contextual Hint work in Fx32. We have some additional Hint work for Fx33. We also need to get some Firstrun ideas designed and landed in Fx33. * Tablet Refresh: Initial design work has wrapped on a tablet refresh [4]. It's time to start laying out a plan for implementation. Look for that to start in Fx33 timeframe, although we don't have expectations that much if anything will ship in Fx33. * Form fill / requestAutoComplete: Work started in the Fx32 cycle, but visible chunks may start landing in Fx33. Desktop is also working on this system. Please refer to the Roadmap [5] for more details and status updates throughout the cycle.
