Here's a quick look at what we'll be focusing on for the Fx36 Nightly Cycle:

* Tablet Refresh: Substantial work continued during the Fx35 cycle. Testing
occurred on Nightly using the setting to enable the new tablet UI for 7" and
10" tablets. We are ready to start evaluating the feature to ride the trains in
Fx36. Obviously, we'll know more as the cycle continues, but at this point, we
are looking to release something in Fx36. For more information, see the project
page [1].

* Reducing APK Size: Large APK size has been linked to failures to install
(network cutting out) and lack of desire to install (no space left on device).
We are looking at two sub-projects to help reduce APK size: Minifying
JavaScript in the Omnijar bundle and Splitting the APK based on Device and
Android API level. Both of these projects made some progress in Fx35, but
frequently got blocked or de-prioritized against other work. We'll continue to
push forward in the Fx36 cycle. See the project page for more info [2]

* Videocasting: We will start working on support for a few new hardware
dongles, such as the Matchstick device [3], in the Fx36 cycle.

* Experimentation and Exploration: We are focusing on a few new projects
(Password Improvements and Management, Task Continuity and Collaboration) that
affect Firefox on Android, Desktop and even other platforms. Some prototyping
and discussions are starting, like the one for Password Improvements [4]. Look
for some work to start in the Fx36 cycle.

* Miscellaneous: We have a fairly large funnel/backlog [5] and some of those
projects/ideas may find their way into Fx36.

Please refer to the Roadmap [6] for more details and status updates throughout
the cycle.
