I apologize that you will need to rebase your patches. I expect
Mercurial's |hg graft| command will handle the moved files seamlessly
when uplifting patches between repositories (you are using multiple
bookmarks/heads, right?), but there is the possibility of pain here.

I was asked not to land this without consultation with the platform
team. I've talked to several platform team members who don't care one
way or the other, but there was a substantive concern: "Does this change
package names?" The answer is *no* -- this is literally just a big file
move.
I hope to surface concerns from the platform team to the list as soon as
possible. If you have concerns, now's the time!
