Purely opinion:
Do I understand correctly that you would continue to support Android
2.3, but not 3.x, and then again 4.0-4.4 ? That would make sense to me.
Android 3 was a bad, rushed release that nobody uses. All the Chinaware
is 4.0 onwards, and there's a certain percentage of 2.3 users out there
with old or cheap Android phones. (I'm one of them, coincidentally, with
Motorola Defy.)
