The emulator dumps its configuration to the test logs, so you can see:

11:00:10     INFO -   hw.lcd.width = 720
11:00:10     INFO -   hw.lcd.height = 1280
11:00:10     INFO -   hw.lcd.depth = 16
11:00:10     INFO -   hw.lcd.density = 320
11:00:10     INFO -   hw.lcd.backlight = yes

Density of 320 should translate to "xhdpi".

I'm less sure of how to determine screen size, but I think this is "normal".
