Hi, In our continued efforts to slim down Fennec [1] today I landed bug 1171946 [2] which removes all mdpi assets saving over 110kB. This works as any mdpi device will be able to downscale assets from the hdpi equivalent with no noticeable performance overhead.
So, a couple of points to make: - If you have an mdpi device, we're looking for you to run a nightly build from tomorrow and keep an eye out for any graphical issues which may have been caused by this patch. If you find any, please report in Bugzilla and cc me. - Please do not create or submit any new mdpi assets, but please make sure you ship all assets in hdpi, xhdpi and xxhdpi.
