See user report below. I have also noticed this behaviour and think that this is a side-effect of our blank-tabs workaround.
Our workaround refreshes the WebKit Process Pool. But I think as a result of that, it then also throws away data, like cookies, that has not yet been synced back to the main process. So logins get lost for example. I think we should probably already plan a followup bugfix release, 1.0.1, with an alternative workaround.
