I am local to portland, so if there are any good android ones, I can help
with that.

Hey Portlandanistas,

Are you interested in having students work on smaller projects that you
don't have time for?

Epicodus is a code school here in PDX who offers internships that I thought
might fit well with us for these reasons:

* Short term internships lasting 5 weeks
* Internships are in pairs - you get two for the price of one
* Unpaid internship, though can arrange to pay if we want
* Should be 30hrs/wk of work
* Can be in office or remote or mixed (eg, 1 day/wk in office)

They focus on teaching development as part of large/distributed teams.
These are very different than a CS intern - often they've got more hands-on
experience.

All you have to do is define a five week project and mentor them during
that period.

Let me know if you're interested. The next session would be spring 2016.
I'd be glad to talk with you about designing projects for this type of
program, if you're not sure how to do that.
