Hi folks, I just landed Bug 1229438 [1] on fx-team. Assuming it sticks, that'll mean services code (Sync, FxA, FHR) and resources will live in mobile/android/services.
This is part of a larger plan: to slice Fennec into a few larger modules. There are two main advantages: 1) independent modules can be easier to understand; 2) independent modules are faster to build, especially to build incrementally. Extracting a Gradle 'services' module is tracked by Bug 1229149; this is just a step down that road. (It's worth noting that |mach build| already builds faster due to Bug 773050.)
