Hey Max, I'm trying using the same generator query that mobile web uses,
but I'm getting a different results order as well.

The first result of the following (searching for "s") returns San Francisco
as the first result, but when I search using mobile web the first result is
Spain.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?piprop=thumbnail&pithumbsize=144&format=json&gpssearch=s&generator=prefixsearch&prop=pageimages&action=query&gpsnamespace=0&pilimit=24&gpslimit=24

Do you see any problems with the query?

Thanks!
