In 1968, Andy Warhol said that; "In the future, everyone will be
worldly famous for 15 minutes". Using Warhol's affirmation as a
premise, 15x15 advances to the 21st century; with technology from the
new medias, anyone and everyone can be famous... for 15 seconds.

This experimentation comes from the appropriation of small chips that
are present in the inside of cell phone pendants, which are trinkets
that light up during calls. In a panel, light is literally sent to the
invisible radiation that emanates from the cell phones and that
invades our bodies.
Mobile Active at Mobilefest

To enlarge the context of "web" that allows us to present experiences
to other countries and promote the debate of ideas, the II edition of
the Mobilefest Festival brings to Brazil for the first time the
International Mobileactive Conference, which brings to the Mobilefest
discussion table the theme of "Mobility for Good".
Organized by the German researcher Katrin Verclas, the meeting, aside
from showing international case studies about the potential of mobile
technologies in civil society towards a better society, will have the
presence of 50 international NGO specialists and 50 Brazilians will be
selected to participate in the discussion about "How can mobile
technology contribute to democacry, culture, art, ecology, peace,
education, health and the third sector?
Mobilefest's theme has awakened the interest and the participation of
artists, companies and researches from all over the world since its
first edition in 2006. This year everyonewill be able to participate
with their opinions and experiences at the conferences, interactive
sessions,workshops and discussion groups.
Katrin wants to make the Mobilefest public question and present ideas
of how the cellphone boom, in all the continents, can contribute to
the sharing of knowledge and to well suceeded experiences.
How it is possible to develop mechanisms that can spread good
practices to other communities, group of educators, NGOss, public
policy GESTORES, with acess to experiments that were done, registered
and documented by mobile devices.
