The problem is that the custom builds like cyanogenmod are available for
some of the widely used models of companies like samsung, sony htc etc.
It is almost impossible to get such a build for lesser brands which are
very good no doubt but are being used in India and other asian countries
whereas the development of the builds takes place mostly outside these
countries.

Hello listers
The android JB 4.3 is being provided on nexus phones, and other
manufacturers like Samsung are making the same available on some of
their devices. Many others are talking about updating android through
open-source custom builds of Android. The process of doing the update
this latter way seems rather complicated. Since some of the new
exciting features of tTalkback would work only on Android 4.3, it
would be a worthy update for us. Has anyone managed to update their
phones through custom android builds such as Cyanogen-Mod? Can we do
the same with the help of talkback? What is the process of rooting?
As we have a few users of Xolo Q 700, any idea whether we are likely
to get a 4.3 official update from Xolo? Is there a custom build of
Android available otherwise?
Looking forward to your response,
