Both Galaxy Star Advance and Ace NXT were launched in India at Rs 7,400, but are now selling at Rs 6,620 and Rs 6,790, respectively. NEW DELHI: Samsung has recently slashed the prices of its low-end and budget smartphones in India. This move comes soon after its Galaxy S5 and Note 3 Neo smartphones were also given official price cuts. Both Galaxy Star Advance and Ace NXT were launched in India at Rs 7,400, but are now listed on the company's official e-store at Rs 6,620 and Rs 6,790, respectively. The former smartphone has a 4.3-inch screen, while the latter has a 4-inch display. Both models have Android 4.4 (KitKat), 512MB RAM, 1.2GHz processor and 3.15MP camera. Galaxy Grand Neo, which was launched at Rs 18,299 in February this year, is now available for Rs 13,668. Like its predecessor Galaxy Grand, this smartphone has 5-inch screen with 800x480p resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 2,100mAh battery. Samsung's Galaxy S3 Neo, which is a small upgrade over Galaxy S3 smartphone, was launched at Rs 26,200. At present, it retails for Rs 20,910 on Samsung India e-store. This smartphone has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, 8MP rear camera, microSD support up to 64GB, 1.5GB RAM and 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Earlier, Samsung gave an official price cut to Galaxy S5, its top-end smartphone in India till recently. The smartphone had been launched at Rs 51,500, but after two price cuts it costs Rs 37,500 officially. Similarly, Galaxy Note 3 Neo's official price has dropped from launch price of Rs 38,990 to Rs 24,378 after two reductions.
