hi all. i am enjoying my stay in the android 4.4.4 world and can happily say that i have promoted my self from basic user to advansed user. although i have not done any modification to my stock android phone i am waiting for the android 5 update and after that i plan to root it. now hear starts my technical question. today i got the rom dump for my phone from xda. now for all who dont know what a rom dump is its a kind of backup of your boot recovery and system and other partitions in separate files most of the files have a .img extention. so i want to ask can i add apps that i freaquently use to this dump? meaning add apk files to lets say the system partition and when its flashed all the added aps will install also can i update preinstalled apps in this dump? also is there any way that i can run this dump files lets say using vm player on my computer to test changes?
