[mochikit] how to pronounce 'mochikit'

I always assumed that it was pronounced like the Japanese yummy rice
treat (mochi) with a "soft" ch.  I just watched some video or other on
the web with it pronounced with a "hard" ch like "brachiate". 
So...which is it?  :)
