i just back from the rye coalition...woaaaw that band rocks my ass. they
were selling t-shirts that said, "rye coalition...jersey city... kiss yr
girlfriend where it smells." i had to buy one. they are super nice boys
too.
on the sad songs tip, i have to say "two-headed boy part II" by neutral milk
hotel is the saddest song ever. at that part where he says, "in my dreams
you're alive and you're crying, as your mouth moves in mine, soft and
sweet," i seriously always cry. in fact, all of their songs are pretty damn
sad and beautiful.
what's this about members of for squirrels being killed? that's so sad. i
totally remember hearing them on alternative radio back in the day, but i
cant' remember how that song goes ("the mighty k.c.")...not to be dorky, but
does anyone remember the chorus or anything? i just wanna know how it goes
again.
sorry none of this is mouse-related, but with them not putting anything out
and not playing anywhere (by me anyway) i dont' have much say lately.
