I admit that description of the new Stereolab rekkerd intrigues me but honestly their work has been steadily impressing me less ever since -Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements- which I think is by far their best. They just sound too French and wanky, the guitar is gone, the drone is gone, now it's all art deco music, and if there's one thing I can't stand, it's art deco music. np:Mogwai, "Summer" -- ...extensive liner notes and make-believe alien languages...
