I think the point is that tyler and marla are never in the room at the same time as ed norton's character. like that scene when norton is yelling at her and brad pitt is down on the basement stairs. yeah. plus, why does everyone keep referring to ed norton's character as Jack? Thats not his name. Some girl wrote a review of the movie for my school paper, and referred to him as jack the whole time. This seems silly cause its important that we never hear his name till we find out he is tyler durden in the end. The only time we hear jack is when he is reading that book that says stuff like, "this is jack's artery" and stuff like that. Then, for the rest of the movie, he uses that....But his name isnt jack. I dont know. I kind of like looking too closely at a movie...especially one like this, just because it is so different from anything that has been done in recent memory... *mer*
