Lord, if i hear of one more person that labels the get
up kids "sell outs", i'll just shoot myself. They are
an amazing band, they are going to get big. And what
exactly are they "selling out" to? Did they promise
all the kids that watched them play in basements back
in the day that some day they would reject mtv if they
had the chance, or tell people not to like them if
they became unbelievably popular? Too many people try
to break bands down with the "sell out" shit. I don't
know what there reasoning is.. maybe it's that they
fear that the band will become far from there "awesome
secret" that few people know about, or they won't get
to see them for 8 bucks anymore... but whatever, be
happy for them. As for the albums though, i do like
their older stuff better, but they are still good.
Anyway, to finish.... they most likely worked really
hard to get where they are. So just try not be as
concerned.

<i don't know if it's just me, but....has anyone else

they expressedWANTING
to be on TRL every second....i dunno...did anyone else
see that? ifyou
did..pleeease tell me they were just kidding (or that
you think they
were)...their first album was great, but after seeing
the video foraction &
