one more thing on michigan fest: my new friend atom (of atom and his package) played there and i convinced him to play a mt. goats song, which he kindly did. he played the seed song and ohhh was it ever grand. i remember that someone on this list was talking about the show where he played all mt. goats covers -- he said that he would send me a tape of it (which i would gladly share) if his plans to release an e.p. of those songs (one of these songs is GOING TO GEORGIA which is quite possibly the best mt. goats song of all time) fall through. but they probably won't, so be looking for that.
