Yeah, I actually did enjoy Romeo Must Die, but I dont think it was because it was a
great flick. I mean granted, its an americanized martial arts filem, so going into it
i knew i couldnt take it too seriously. Also, I think it brings me back to my
childhood, when vandamme used to do kickboxer and bloodsport and whatnot (all terrible
films now that ive watched them again). And I think that seeing SF, streets that ive
walked down or been on many times, that too had something to do with it. Its just
like when they film a movie in seattle (where im from) and ill have some strange
affinity towards it even if it really sucks. thats about it. romeo must die is not a
film id probably even watch on video, but in the theater its great. and Kate, I'm
sure your taste in films is fine, because any movie ive heard you mention as being
good, ive enjoyed very much as well. i guess thats all for now. anyone gets bored
tonight, check out the Peanut Butter and Jelly Show, with Spot, Phre!
ddrika, and me, Grendel, tonight from 8-10p on 103.3 if you are in San Jose, or on the
internet at www.kscu103.com and click the webradio link. the shows usually a punk
show, but somehow I've gotten spot into indie (and somehow even the mouse, a band he
claimed to never be able to like.... making new mousers everyday, hell yeah!!)
