AH YES, the GnR game. I only got to play it a few times in my life. In State College, they have a place called Funland with like 25 tables in one room, and it was always a bit overwhelming for little ol' me. I would just walk right down the line trying every one, even the crappy ones. *sigh* > i'd always planned on having a pinball gallery > when i'm older and wealthier, I read a newspaper article about a guy in WV about an hour from me that houses a small collection in his house and has his pals over to chill on occasion. I think I read it was invite-only though, I swear to god I almost made a road trip just to scope da joint. > banzai run I remember it, but not well. > theatre of magic - i always feel like i got ripped > off playing this one, but i keep coming back Probably because you WERE getting ripped off, I've played about five different tables of this one, and only ONE was completely functional. The gap between the flippers is MUCH too wide, and the ball shooting out from under the platform will find that gap every single time if you're not pro-active with the flippers. The big key on this one, I think, is hitting the loops around the box and the ramps. Everything else is extranneous. Not an easy one. > road construction (?) - Dude, this game rots! I hate this one, I could NEVER get past like the first few cities or whatever! Ick! > addams family - along with elvira, There were two Addams Family games, one before the movie and one after. The early one had a much simpler setup, but I RAWKED this table at the Pittsburgh airport once while waiting for a 2 hour transfer. One quarter, 8 credits, name on the board and it was only like the third time I had tried it that day. Too sweet. You could synch up the ramp shots and just tally them over and over, I think I got like 14 in a row at one point. This is boring you to DEATH. > weather report (?) - neat swirly thing in the > middle, and a wind-blowin' fan effect Hurricane, I think it was called. Pretty neat, but it could slam yr ball down the hole so quickly. Sad. > the terminator 2 pinball game sucks, by the way. Yes, it does. And the arcade at our mall used to only have Baywatch, and though I love pinball, I could not waste money on that piece of poo poo. I have a friend that has High Speed in her basement... last summer, my friends & I would all go to her place and get drunk while playing pinball until we broke into a sweat, then go for a dip in her pool. What are friends for??? I really need to find a table this weekend, *phiL* __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
