well its probly pretty obvious...but the ideals of the artist (as long as its not presented in a confrontational, discriminating way) isnt really relevant most of the time as far as the listenee/reader/whatever is concerned...what i mean is that issac mentioning drinking in his song doesnt matter to me..and its okay if the songs are good...compared to say a straight edge hardcore band writing songs about not drinking..but doing it in a confrontational and discriminating way is bad..even tho they hold the same beliefs on that particular subject. bukowski is an amazing writer..and i can enjoy and appreciate his work...even tho like 90% has to do with drinking..and i havent read all of his work but i dont recall him ever taking a stance on the subject saying that he was right and people who dont drink are wrong ( im sure i wouldnt make such a statement) but this messege has gone on far too long sorry. love andrew PS...anyone out there with an amusing car accident story please share it with me...i had the weirdest experience today getting in an accident with a psychotic woman and i want to share it
