hey! wow! i just heard the new album....wow... its different but in a good way. it reminds me of listening to both LCW and Long Drive in a big cave. echoes and spooky noises. it feels confined and dark, which seems to be at odds with the expanse and emptiness that the title suggests. crowded. claustrophobic. my biggest complaint is that the new version of Dark Center of the Universe lacks the energy that the japanese tour e.p version has. it seems flatter. Someone mentioned how I Came As a Rat was a bad title for a bad song... i dunno im really starting to dig this song. And Tiny Cities Made of Ashes sounds like Beck. i dont know what to make of this. it's a great song, but it's a Beck song.
