I've never heard Godspeed You Black Emperor although I've been planning to check them out for a while. However, all of you godspeed fans should check out Molasses. Molasses is made up up of memebers of Godspeed You Black Emperor. They play this amazing, quiet, haunting music. I saw them on tour last year having never heard of them before. Sadly there were only about 10 people at the show, but I have to rank it among the top 5 shows I've been to. Everyone ifn the club was completely blown away. It was great. And they played this incredible version of Amazing Grace. Molasses is on tour in June I think so if they're playing in your town I HIGHLY recommend them. -Bruce
