Hi,

We at WGSN.com, the Worth Global Style Network supplying fashion
information to businesses and students, are using mod_perl for user
authentication. Users are authenticated against an Oracle database on an
Apache caching proxy using Tim Bunce's DBI module (and Apache::DBI), and I
cache the usernames in shared memory with Ben Sugars' IPC::ShareLite. Auth
headers are re-written to reflect a users' group, and passed on to a
content management system where content is served from. Thanks.
