mailing list highlights

Sorry the Digest has been on a two week cycle lately, but my time
has been consumed by other projects lately. The traffic on the
list has been less lately as well [11], so the cutback can be
  considered an exercise in refactoring...

o An interesting discussion for using an AxKit AxOutputTransformer
to disable browser caching appeared on the list, since the AxKit
    list is still down [12]

o With Stas officially sponsored for 2.0 development [13], there has
been a flurry of activity on the 2.0 front [14], including a
a documentation project and repository [15] and some initial
work on a knowledge base [16]

o Various ways of detecting broken client connections were evaluated
    here [17]

o There is an RFC for yet another httpd.conf parsing tool [18].
The thread opens up the possibility of a single tool that combines
all the functionality of the modules currently available.
