Hi with perl 58 /win32 I noted that ppm refuses to install packages from http://theoryx5.uwinipeg.ca/ppms (the one for 5.8) because these packages mention ARCHITECTURE NAME="MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.8" while perl 580 built without archname (and the one from activestate) does not specify "5.8" but ARCHITECTURE NAME="MSWin32-x86-multi-thread" only the packages still install after manual donwload and change of ppd file thanks pascal
