When we were using plain CGI: Page view: 3.5 million / mo Load average: 0.6 - 1.2 mod_perl PerlRun: Page view: 4 million / mo Load average: 0.2 - 0.5 I couldn't find the benchmark result on requests/sec, but I remember it was around 4 times faster when running mod_perl PerlRun.
