RT has had issues with attachment corruption that are not related to
mp2.  I have RT on mp1 and had this issue.  We currently use 3.0.4 and
it does not corrupt attachments.
Strange.
I use rt3.0.5+all major fixes from latest cvs tree and mp1 and RH9 based 
distro and don't have such issue.
