Is anyone else having problems just now?

It's down. Due to a fire in SF.

(Because of the number of times it crops up, I was going to ask if
http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/user/help/help.html#Wrong_Apache_mod_perl_combination
should perhaps be in a more obvious place on the site - but as I can't
get a reponse from the server, I don't know how obvious it is now... :)

It's all over the place. If the user has even tried to read the online docs, there is at least 3 places in the installation where it says so in big letters. Of course the user may have not known about the existance of these online docs. But the included modperl-2.0/README file says:

*** Prerequisites ***

Apache:
This version of mod_perl works with Apache versions 2.0.36 -
  2.0.47.
...

of course the user may have never seen the source... oh well
