I'm building modperl2 from source.
I was hoping that since I plan on building it as a dso I would be able to
compile the dso to point to a different directory.
I believe covalent used to sell a apache/modperl/modssl/tomcat package that
installed under a directory of the user's choosing.

What are you doing with apache?

Typically, there are two courses of action:

1. Be a slave to Redhat and do the RPM thing.

2. Build your own apache/mod_perl system.

Which of these are you doing?
