I've been reading the following doc on how to get a core dump file:
http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/devel/debug/c.html#Analyzing_Dumped_Core_Files

I followed the section: Getting the core File Dumped

Then I run Apache as described: /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd
-DONE_PROCESS -DNO_DETACH

the most relevant section is: http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/devel/debug/c.html#Getting_the_core_File_Dumped

Issue a request. But I get a Segmentation Fault without core dump ...

Well, you didn't follow up on the request to send a proper bug report, as explained here: http://perl.apache.org/bugs/ So I can't even try suggesting what could be the problem (I don't even know what OS you are on) Please file a proper bug report and we will take it from there. Thanks.

If you are on Solaris read:
http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/devel/debug/c.html#Obtaining_core_Files_under_Solaris
