Install Apache using the prefork MPM and Perl threaded, or not threaded...?

I'll assume windows since you mentioned it in another post.
I'd recommend you read this : http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mpm_winnt.html
Also when you're talking about windows... are you compiling from source using Visual C++, cygwin, or installing prebuilt binaries ?
