Hi all,

Here are some updates on the upcoming mod_perl tutorials

-------------------------------------------------------------------

For those who have missed the announcement Stuttgart, Germany hosts the ApacheCon EU on 18-22 July 2005. You can see the schedule here:
http://apachecon.com/2005/EU/html/sessions.html

I'll be teaching a whole day mod_perl 2 tutorial on July 18th. If you plan to come (and I hope you will :) please register asap, since June 17th is a cut-off date for the tutorials. If there will be not enough people registered the tutorial will be cancelled. Thank you!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The best ever OSCon is happening on August 1-5th in Portland, Oregon, USA. There I'll be teaching a half day mod_perl 2.0 tutorial on August 1st.

The cutoff date is around end of June, so if please register asap. Thank you.

There will be also a tutorial by Geoffrey Young, which you must not miss.

For those not coming to ApacheCon, please check my free mongers mod_perl 2 talks schedule: http://stason.org/schedule.html

There is an ongoing unofficial competition between monger groups of how many hours they can bear me talking, and the results so far:

Montreal.pm : 4.5 hours, w/o a single break!!!
Sydney.pm : 5.0 hours, w/ 2 short breaks
Melbourne.pm: 4.0 hours, w/ 2 short breaks

It's the most interesting to teach when you get people asking interesting questions. So far Montreal.pm folks have asked the highest number of questions, following by Sydney.pm, with very few questions asked by Melbourne.pm, probably because they already knew everything I was teaching ;)

I'm looking forward to more competition from Israel, Stuttgart, Barcelona, Paris, Copenhagen, Seattle and Portland monger groups :)
