Have anyone build static mod_perl and apache v2.0.59 successfully?

most people have long abandoned the static mod_perl route. its a PITA to maintain ( you have to upgrade mp and apache at the same time )

performance wise, there's basically no difference between static and dynamic modperl . if there is anything, its so negligible that its imperceptible.
