I think you're missing the point of the original question, which wasn't
'what did mods take 35 years ago' (especially as a lot of the prescription
pills are no longer available). I think we can presume that everyone knows
what mods took. These days, as everyone knows, it's Cardury's chocolate
buttons and cups of tea.
