Yes-- Sloan, Apples in Stereo, High Llamas and some others are creating some incredible timeless music. These bands have forged very unique identities and have written some great songs. I also think The Loons have done this too with their first album. This is some of the good stuff that's been coming out the past 2 years. Any others? fez wrecker
