No man, I don't think so, and I'll tell ya why shall
I?
Two original members (guitar players came and went
remember?), a great harpist to try and replace what
only Keith could do, a vocalist (John Idan) that plays
bass (another rotating position)and in his own right
is an outstanding blues/R&B player. John (Idan,
vocalist) was "discovered" by original guitarist Tony
"Top" Topham in a guitar shop while playing a bit of
knockout Freddie King! John went on to play with Top
and McCarty in the McCarty/Topham Blues Band.
Idan sounds alot like Relf (unintentionally I might
add) and is really pushing the guys to get NEW stuff
out. All the members are firmly committed to r&b/blues
and look to have some stuff out later this year.
Did you check out the RA files? Man they kick!
I think a few of the folks who saw them at the IOW a
couple years back will give a vote of confidence as
well. Well?
Welsby are you there?
I'm behind them 100% unlike say the "New" Animals or
The Shadows of Knight etc...
Even my beloved Pirates had some extremely sad
lineups.
Re: the Ripples series on Sequel, anybody heard 'em?
I'm especially interested in hearing the "Uptown
Girls/Big City Boys" collection.

ps. It's finally snowed here... I was hoping we were
gonna become a winter haven but I guess not.
