I MUCH prefer vintage Euro cars to ANY new cars but have to give style
points to the new Audi TT - ultra futuristic looking, much more so than
any Volkswagen; minimalist and functional yet stunningly sleek in design;
over-horsepowered, over-torqued and over-priced. And I hear the the new
convertible (TT Cabriolet) is coming soon. It's the only new car in years
to turn my head away from mid-60's Volvo P-1800's and BMW 2002 Tii's in
years. I'm excited to see the new Mini but skeptical - why drop the same
amount of money on a new one that you could pay for the purchase and
restoration of and OLD one (maybe TWO old ones!)
