Where do you live? It is practically de rigueur (pardon my french) around here to have (at least) one vintage scooter , and many also have vintage 60s cars of all makes, European and American. I'm partial to the early Ford Falcons myself. Still relatively cheap, and almost scooter-like in their simplicity and economy. I've been amazed to find other mod-types that share this same affinity for the often overlooked little Falcon ...and it's cousin the Ranchero pickup...(perfect for scooter retrieval, right Syd?) We're talkin' '60-'65 here...anything after is just plain ugly. And don't even go off about displacement either...we ride scooters remember?
