Yikes!

I know that you just wanted to defend fashion and rebuke the boiler for
their inability to accept your deeply felt criticism, but I worry when
people claim that they aren't affected by architecture. Think of all the
public housing projects that they've had to blow up because they were so
oppressive. The tenants may not have given a damn about architecture either
but it sure contributed to the oppressiveness of their lives.

On the other end of the spectrum, there's nothing finer than walking through
a truly great building--many designed in the '60s. There may not be
anything particularly mod about the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth, but
experiencing such a well made thing strikes a similar chord in me to a well
cut suit or beautiful scooter.

Again, not to at all take exception to your fashion/boiler comment, but
architecture effects you whether you want it to or not.
