The Bass shoe company has changed the design of the classic weejun. Any opinions? To my eye it actually looks a little more mod in a continental gigilo kind of way. As a side note on the easier/harder to be mod in the present/past: Everything I've seen indicates that mods always find a way to make things hard on themselves. I honestly think that if the discount chains overflowed with fred perry shirts, record stores and radio stations abandoned all but soul, and italian scooters were sold on every street corner that the mods would find some way to dig deeper and either customize the off-the-shelf items in an obscure and expensive way or move on to something else. To sum up: in my opinion it's exactly as hard to be a mod as it ever was--if a person spends every waking hour and every bit of disposable income on it they just might make it. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com _____________________________________________________________ Check out the new and improved Topica site! http://www.topica.com/t/13
