Gregg was correct, Joe Cuba did do a song called "Sock
it to Me", Willie Bobo had a version, as well.
I believe it's the same song as the Mitch Ryder one,
but I don't have the Bobo LP here at work to see
whether or not Bob Crewe wrote it.
Better question, who did "Sock it to Me, Socrates"?
