Blue Note, cool modern (where we folks get our moniker from) jazz, covers
worth looking for include: Dexter Gordon 'Go', Kenny Burrell 'Midnight
Blue', Us 3 'Us 3', 'midnight Special' Jimmy Smith, the cool ones with
photos by WIlliam Caxton of Peggy Moffitt wearing Rudi Gernreich clothes on
Lou Donaldson's stuff (eg. Alligator Bogaloo - it's spelt like that on the
sleeve before anyone complains!)also 'Breaking Point' by Freddy Hubbard has
a smashing cover!
