it was very good, but i found it frustrating that they seemed only to 
recognise 60's mods - ie. no journalism about mod revival or mod in the 
90's. saying that though, as we hve just been saying about VH1, mainstream 
jounrnalism on the mod in the 90's has been nothing short of innacurate. i 
think they could have found some more female writers, though, apart from 
just Mary Quant! and i fail to see why they went on in the book about mod 
girls having short Sassoon cuts with eyeliner and white lipstick, and then 
put a girl on the cover that had none of these! they should have put in the 
Marc Feld 1962 interview, as Mojo magazine said in their review of it, 
instead of just referring to it! but, still, it was nice to see hundreds of 
pages of a book all devoted to mod, and put together with some idea of what 
it's about. makes a nice change!
